As SCM and logistics is a very dynamic field, players in the field are constantly confronted with new operational issues and questions. Since 2006, through its focused annual conference (HICL) and proceedings, the Institute of Logistics and General Management at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), seeks to unearth and highlight these issues by bringing together a critical mass of researchers attempting to address these questions with new insights, concepts and methodologies and offer the latest solutions and processes.

Their mission is to facilitate the exchange of the ideas and contribute to the improved understanding and practice of Logistics and SCM by creating a creative environment which attracts researchers, practitioners, and industry thinkers from all around the world who are involved in studying and disseminating of logistics and SCM issues.

This year Hamburg International Conference of Logistics (2022) took place between 21 to 23 September 2022, online, under the theme  “Changing Tides: The New Role of Resilience and Sustainability in Logistics and Supply Chain Management” .

Cyber-MAR project was represented by VTT (Mr. Harri Pyykkö (Ph.D. Candidate) & Dr. Ville Hinkka) and UoP (Dr. Kemedi Moara-Kkwe), who submitted and presented a paper entitled “Evaluation of monetary impacts of cyber-attacks on global supply chains in port”.
