Marine and Maritime Cyber Security in MBTC, Plymouth

The Marine Business Technology Centre (MBTC), based in Plymouth organises several events designed to bring together digital and marine businesses, with networking and learning opportunities focused on key industry challenges. In this context the Marine and Maritime Cyber Security event took place on 5th of November at Plymouth Marine Station.
Prof. Nathan Clarke and Mr. Steve Rice from University of Plymouth with the presentation entitled as “Maritime Cyber Threats research group”, gave a comprehensive overview of the modern cyber threats in the maritime sector, as well as the existing awareness and research level. They also presented the aim of Cyber-MAR project, the involved partners and the project’s objectives.
